Do you like pizza?

So I have successfully delivered a slice of pizza to a homeless person. I saw one sitting with a sign... didn't stop to read it but I did see a sign for pizza about a hundred feet ahead of him.

So I walked into the pizza shop, bought a slice and had it wrapped in a bag. When I approached him and bent down, I didn't even get to the word 'like' in "Do you like pizza?" before he was already reaching up and taking it from out of my hands.

I smiled when he took it and said thank you. Then I nodded and turned to walk away. He paused and called back 'God bless you.' They all say that... I turned and waved again before going and catching my bus.

I would like to sit down and talk to them, but I think that's a safety issue. Some of them are homeless because they have social troubles and can't function easily in society. Its terrible to stereotype like that, but its true. That kind of trouble could easily lead to obsession and stalking so I don't want to risk it, particularly because I always take similar routs home and pass some of the same homeless people over and over.

Ok, hefty update

I'm sorry for not keeping up more often, but I really am slowly accomplishing a bunch of stuff!

So I've recently moved to Weehawken NJ. Which puts me 2 miles closer to the Lincoln tunnel. The kitchen is fantastic, its so big and clean and it has a dishwasher... I love it so much. Also we finally picked up our queen sized bed! Moving on up! Yay!!!

I believe that takes care of a number of things on my list!

While in Cape Cod I picked stuff up for Dan's mom. She can't have caffeine but loves tea, so I bought her something called 'honey bush' which is I hear good things about and its herbal so its decaf!

Also I got her this little creme pitcher for when she serves tea/coffee. Its shaped like a kitty and its paw is the spout where the milk comes out! She was thoroughly amused.
